Sébastien Recotillon
Following a near-death experience at the age of 19, Sébastien walked away from his “formal life” and threw himself fully into a search for meaning and truth. For more than 18 years, he lived, studied, and travelled around the world, meeting masters, guides, and teachers from many traditions. His path led him through meditation, Tantra Yoga, shamanism, Ayurveda, bodywork, emotional intelligence, healing techniques, and modern approaches to human development.
His approach brings together all aspects of being human, linking science with mysticism. He embraces perspectives where polarities meet — consciousness and sexuality, understanding and experience, depth and playfulness. He loves to reveal what tends to remain in the shadows, using humour, clarity, and embodied awareness as gateways to deeper intimacy.
With more than 20 years of experience facilitating retreats and workshops, alongside a background as a Steiner teacher and in computer programming, Sébastien is passionate about understanding human beings and the invisible strings that weave our reality.
Monogamy, Open, Polyamory & beyond
Not so long ago, “being in a relationship” meant something simple and widely shared: two people living together, sexually exclusive, and following a familiar script. Today, the landscape is much more diverse. We speak of open relating, polyamory, conscious monogamy, and many other forms — some born from genuine inquiry, others emerging as trends or curiosities.
If the ideal would be for each of us to find what truly fits, the reality is more subtle. Our choices are deeply shaped by our social and cultural background, our communities, our lifestyle, and even the spiritual environments we move in. And very often, these labels we adopt — monogamous, open, poly — become ways to protect ourselves, to avoid certain experiences, or to hide tender parts of us, repeat patterns, even when our intentions are sincere.
In this masterclass, we will explore a way of relating that lives beyond the labels.
This is an invitation to let go of the identifications, explore possibilities and rediscover how to truly relate — with honesty, sensitivity, and presence.
